The 45th edition of the Trofeo delle Industrie will take place next 28 – 30 October at  the South Garda Karting of Lonato (Brescia, Italy). On track categories 60 Mini, OK Junior, KZ2 and Prodriver Under.

Trofeo delle Industrie continues its long tradition and is going to be back at the South Garda Karting circuit of Lonato (Brescia, Italy) for its 45th edition next 28 – 30 October, in the event that is part of the CIK-FIA calendar. The race will be organized by Parma Motorsport.

Four categories will get on track for the occasion: namely, 60 Mini, OK Junior, KZ2 will be joined for the first time by 125 Prodriver Under, the national category reserved to drivers from 17 to 35 years of age.

Entry forms will be available at the website www.trofeodelleindustrie.it starting from the 26th of September. A maximum number of 54 drivers will be accepted for categories 60 Mini, OK Junior and KZ2 (fitting Vega tyres), while 125 Prodriver Under (MG tyres) will have a cap of 34 drivers instead.

The oldest karting race in the world will also run in 2016 to write another important page in its very long history that started back in 1971. The race features several big names of international motorsport in its hall of fame.

Last year’s winners of the race were the Finn Simo Puhakka, on CRG/Maxter/Vega in KZ2, the young and strong Spanish Marta Garcia on FA Kart/Tm/Vega claimed the victory in KF Junior, after securing the win of the CIK-FIA Academy Trophy, while the Italian Mattia Michelotto won 60 Mini on Energy/Iame/Vega, after winning the Italian 2015 Championship.

The provisional racing programme schedules Free practice and Scrutineering for Friday October 28th, while Practice, Qualifying and Heats will follow on Saturday 29th. Second chance races, Prefinals and Finals will complete the programme on Saturday October 30th. The usual rich prize ceremony will close the event. Categories 60 Mini, OK Junior and KZ2 will fight for the Absolute Trophy Comm. Carlo Fabi.
