The event that scored a new entry record named its champions of the 52nd edition: Perico (Mini U10), Sala (OKJ), Bertuca (KZ2), Orlando (OKNJ), Scognamiglio (OKN), Miron Lorente (Mini Gr.3).
After two days of uncertain weather, the ‘friendly sun’ returned to the South Garda Karting in Lonato for the final phase of the 52nd Trofeo delle Industrie, the oldest karting race organized by Parma Motorsport. This year, in memory of its founder Umberto Pellegrini, it set a new record for entries, 320, and 304 verified drivers from 47 nations.
The weekend in Lonato was characterized by an incredible series of battles in all categories, from the smallest MINI Under 10 and Group 3, which saw 120 drivers, to the most performing international OKJ and KZ2, and finally the two new federal categories OK-NJ and OK-N which also on this occasion had an excellent result with 90 drivers.
After the qualifying heats at the beginning of the weekend, it was the final phase of the Prefinals and Finals on Sunday, October 27th that exalted the event, which in the end enriched the Hall of Fame with all the champions of this 52nd edition. The largest team was BabyRace Driver Academy with 18 drivers, and the most numerous foreign nation was Sweden with 15 drivers.
